IFS
Intensive Family Services (IFS) are specifically designed for families in crisis whose children are at risk of out-of-home placement. Our family preservation program actively seeks to obtain or directly provide the critical services needed to enable the family to remain together in a safe and stable environment.We specialize in providing IFS to clients exhibiting sexually inappropriate behaviors and their families.
Referrals may also include children or adolescents returning home after residential care. Referrals are accepted from DJJ, DSS, COC, MTS, DDSN, and DMH. Only state agency personnel may make an IFS Referral. This requires a current medical necessity and 254.
Services include:

- Parenting Education

- Relapse Prevention
- Communication Skills Building
- Behavior Management
- Teaching household and money management
- Linkage with other agencies and community resources
Outpatient
Outpatient services include psychiatric assessments, medication management, individual, group, and family therapy.We now offer an on going group for adolescent males exhibiting sexual behavior problems, please call our office for further information.

Project Connect
"Connecting Families With Solutions"Project Connect is a federally funded grant program developed to provide community based alternatives to secure detention. Each client and their family will be assigned a Family Advocate who will provide services 5 hrs a week for 12 weeks.
Services include:
- Parenting Education (with an emphasis on supervision)
- Individual Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Linkage with community resources
- Crisis Intervention
The goal of Project Connect is to reduce the number of detentions and Disproportionate Minority Contact through a collaborative effort between Carolina Family Services, South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, and local law enforcement.
We will be accepting 75 clients this year. Greenville, Anderson, and Pickens Counties have been identified to receive services based on the data gathered from The Children's Law Center surrounding trends in juvenile detentions.
