Services We Provide

In Home Family Services

In Home Family Services (formally known as IFS) are specifically designed for families in crisis whose children are at risk of out-of-home placement. Our family preservation program actively seeks to obtain or directly provide the critical services needed to enable the family to remain together in a safe and stable environment.

We specialize in providing In Home Family Services to clients exhibiting sexually inappropriate behaviors and their families.

Referrals may also include children or adolescents returning home after residential care. Referrals are accepted from DJJ, DSS, COC, MTS, DDSN, and DMH. Only state agency personnel may make an In Home Family Services Referral. This requires a current medical necessity and 254.

Services include:

Project Connect

Services include:
The goal of Project Connect is to reduce the number of detentions and Disproportionate Minority Contact through a collaborative effort between Carolina Family Services, South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, and local law enforcement.

UPDATE: Thanks for your interest in and support of Project Connect. This federal grant program officially ended March 31, 2012 and no more referrals are being accepted at this time. We will continue to provide our In Home Medicaid program in all three targeted counties.
